About Kore Atelier
Inspired by the Greek Goddess of Spring, Persephone, my mission is to craft delicate and whimsical pieces to bring touches of joy and femininity to others. Persephone was born to Demeter and raised to tend to the earth alongside her mother. She went on to become Queen of the Underworld alongside Hades, this being against her mother’s wishes as she then had to split her time between Earth and the Underworld. Persephone represents divine femininity and the innate juxtaposition that comes alongside it, retaining a soft nurturing touch while having a strong determination for independence and following your own intuition.
Find your own inner goddess by adorning your temple with delicate gold-plated jewelry, hand-knit garments, and accessories, or quilted bags and pouches to store your trinkets and treasures. Each item is handmade with care and love to bring the warmth of the spring sun to any day of the year.
About Me
Hi! I’m Kenzie, a fashion design student from the Chicagoland area now living in San Francisco. Throughout my whole life I’ve loved to create and learn any craft I could get my hands on. From drawing to 3D printing to opera singing, I explored many art mediums. I studied at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music for two years before transferring to the Academy of Art after finding so much satisfaction for making crochet and knit garments. Fashion has always been an important avenue of self-expression for me throughout my life, and realizing the endless possibilities that a hook and yarn held was inspiring. As a designer, adjustability and comfort are important to me as I want my clothing to be worn and loved pieces in wardrobes, I hope to encourage people to wear more color and experiment with their personal style. I also love making handmade clothing more accessible by sharing my patterns and creating tutorial videos to inspire others to learn to sew or knit!
